Bathing Program

Community bathing helps support people who require a bathing service to ensure safety.

ONE CARE’s bathing program is support by trained PSW staff and Nurse Leads.

Community bathing help support people who require a bathing service to ensure safety. The community bathing program is support by trained PSW staff and Nurse Leads. Whirlpool bath available at select locations in Huron County.

Bathing Program:

All bathing products and towels are provided.  Clients are welcome to bring scent-free personal care products to use after their bath.

Availability is based on loaction and hours.

Whirlpool tubs are available at the Clinton, Goderich, Grand Bend and Wingham ADP locations.


Eligibility

  • Older adults 55+ or individuals with special needs.

  • Medical advice form must be completed by a doctor.

  • An assessment to be completed by Ontario Health atHome Care Coordinator or the ONE CARE Care Planner or Lead ADP Nurse.

  • Bath can not be provide if client has an open wound or communicable disease.

  • $35/bath for 1 staff assistance

  •  $55/bath for 2 staff assistance

Cancellation fee may apply if cancelled with less than 24 hours notice

Transportation can be arranged through Easy Ride at an additional fee.
