Community Support Month

🌟 October is Community Support Month! 🌟

Every October, we join with the Ontario Community Support Association (OCSA) to celebrate the vital role that community support services play in helping people live well at home and stay connected to their communities.

At ONE CARE, we’re proud to provide a wide range of services that make a difference every day — from Meals on Wheels, transportation, and adult day programs, to in-home support, exercise classes, and so much more.

👉 Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing stories and highlights that shine a light on the incredible impact of community support. Stay tuned as we showcase our services, our volunteers, and the clients who inspire us.

Together, let’s celebrate Community Support Month and the programs that help people live independently, with dignity, and close to home. 💜💚

Open House and Wellness Fair - October 30th

To celebrate Community Support Services Month, ONE CARE will host a Seniors Wellness Fair & Open House on Wednesday, October 30, from 2:00–4:30 p.m. at its Huron location — the Betty Cardno Centre (317 Huron Street, Clinton). The event will feature information on ONE CARE programs, services from local partner agencies, demonstrations (including shuffleboard and exercise classes), refreshments, and door prizes.

The event will also mark the official community celebration of the new Seniors Active Living Centre at the Betty Cardno Centre, an initiative funded by the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility that provides a vibrant hub to help seniors stay active, independent, and engaged.
