Living independently doesn’t mean you have to feel alone. Our Reassurance program provides daily check-in calls to help ensure your well-being, offering comfort, connection, and peace of mind.
Reassurance
A trained volunteer will call you each weekday at a prearranged time to check in and provide:
✅ Health & safety checks – Making sure you're feeling well and safe
✅ Date & day reminders – Helping you stay on schedule
✅ Friendly conversation – A warm and caring chat to brighten your day
For added security, you may also consider our Lifeline Emergency Response System.

This service is available to seniors and adults with disabilities who live independently in the community.

How to Register
To sign up for our free telephone reassurance calls:
Call 519-271-2217 ext. 30 or 1-877-502-8277
We’ll complete a short intake, including emergency contact and health details.
You’ll be added to our schedule, and calls will begin within one business day.
Call Schedule
📆 Monday to Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Calls can be scheduled for any combination of days, with a consistent call time.
Who Will Be Calling?
Our trained volunteers from ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services provide these calls. Each volunteer has completed police and reference checks for your safety and peace of mind. Since volunteers work on a rotating schedule, you may hear from different friendly voices throughout the week.
No fees. Just care and connection when you need it.
