Steps for Seniors Raises $22,000 (and counting) in Support of Driven to Care

We are excited to announce this year’s Steps for Seniors walkathon fundraiser successfully raises $22,000 in support of our Driven to Care campaign.

This marks a significant leap forward towards reaching Driven to Care’s $500,000 fundraising goal as we now close in on generating nearly $300,000 to date.

This incredible achievement was made possible by the generosity of our participants, donors, sponsors, and community supporters who came together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local seniors. Funds raised through Steps for Seniors will directly support the Driven to Care campaign, which helps fund the purchase and maintenance of accessible vehicles for our transportation program. These vehicles play a vital role in helping seniors attend medical appointments, access essential services, and remain connected to their community.

While we celebrate this milestone, there is still time to contribute. Donations will remain open for the duration of Seniors Month, giving supporters another opportunity to help strengthen accessible transportation services for older adults in our community.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, and championed this important cause. Together, we are helping ensure that seniors have safe, reliable transportation when they need it most.

Donations are still being accepted throughout Seniors Month.
