For over 40 years, ONE CARE has been proudly serving the residents of Huron and Perth Counties with essential home and community-based services. As a trusted not-for-profit organization, we are deeply rooted in our local communities, providing personalized support that helps people live at home with independence and dignity. Whether it's transportation to vital appointments, hot meal deliveries, personal care, or social and wellness programs, our services are designed to meet the needs of older adults, people with health challenges, and their caregivers.

ONE CARE is more than just a service provider—we’re a community partner. Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge and give thanks for the land on which we gather as being the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee/People of the Long House and the Anishinaabe. We recognize the First Peoples’ continued stewardship of the land and water, and that this territory is subject to the Dish with One Spoon Wampum under which multiple nations agreed to care for the land and resources by the Great Lakes in peace.

We also acknowledge and recognize the treaties signed in regard to this land including Treaty #29 and Treaty #45 1/2. Our roles and shared responsibilities as treaty people mean we are committed to moving forward in reconciliation with gratitude and respect with all First Nations, Metis, Inuit and Indigenous Peoples.

We commit to advancing cultural safety training, care and services; grounding ourselves in humility and respect as we continue to learn and unlearn together; building relationships and sustainable engagement with First Nations, Inuit and Metis people and communities; and demonstrating critical allyship.
