Easter Meals on Wheels delivered

The Easter Weekend was made a bit brighter for more than 140 seniors who receive Meals on Wheels. Staff and volunteers ensured that meals were delivered on Good Friday.

The Nutrition Services staff in our Huron kitchen voted unanimously in favour of working on Friday – which is normally a statutory holiday for them. Not only did they make meals for the Huron clients, but also the Stratford clients – essentially doubling their workload for the day. And as an added treat, children of ONE CARE staff and friends created handmade Easter cards for each and every client to receive with their meal.
